Main points:
- EN-EL proposal for AFT/EAM workflow and PMU data handling
- no-PMU case:
- EAM 'event' created and linked to AFT (up to N)
- compatible with proposed linking plug-in (EAM 'event' linked to AFT), except that it would need extension to write data to AFT and mark fault as reviewed.
- for minor events, approach works without AFT link (dealt with between TIOC and EL EAM)
- PMU case:
- PMUs to automatically create EAM log (type: perturbation)
- 'perturbation' linked to 'event' as first approach; 'event' linked to AFT by EL
- data analysis requires fetching combined data from AFT & EAM
- on AFT side, data (including EAM links) can be extracted via API or GUI
- on EAM side, data (including AFT links) should be possible to extract
- merging of data via links possible
- Discussion
- Serge reinforced that merged events across accelerators would be very useful
- Lukas asked whether EL wants to keep EAM creation and linking manual; otherwise PMU data may be read out by AFT automatic fault recording, to create and populate AFT fault automatically and then populate EAM
- figured that for minor events this may not be useful
- EL and EAM will check feasibility of automatic EAM log creation from PMU data
- Agreed that RAWG will work out combined proposal taking inputs from TIOC, EL, CV
