Abstract:

A fourth generation of particles is one of the simplest extension to the Standard Model. The existence of such massive fermions is still consistent with precision electroweak measurements and may allow the resolution of several long-standing issues in particle physics. We present the results of the Search for Fourth Generation Top-Like Quarks in the lepton-plus-jets channel using data collected during 2011 by the CMS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.
