Abstract:
Models of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking often feature composite pion states in their spectrum. Due to their lack of tree level coupling to WW/ZZ, these pions possess distinctive patterns of decays that distinguish them from a standard-model-like Higgs boson. For example, the diphoton channel is extremely valuable and the di-tau channel can also be informative. In addition, an enhanced production rate from gluon fusion, leads light pions formed of colored constituents to be strongly constrained by present LHC Higgs search data. This talk discusses several examples and suggests which channels will be most valuable for further exploration.
