  1. Airport transfers in Lome
    • Travelers are advised to consult their hotels to make arrangements for airport pickup / drop offs
    • For the people staying the university residence, Prof. Amou will arrange the airport transfers
  2. Excursion: 2 options are being investigated. Prof. Amou will provide details as he receives more information. Prof. Amou will also investigate whether a University bus of 50-person capacity may be used—he will make a request to the University President. The excursion is planned for September 20. The options are:
    • The historical city of Ouidah in Benin. Some folks may need visa to travel to Benin.
    • The Water fall of Womé, Togo (you may look it up on google).
  3. The ATLAS Open Data training, planned for the afternoon of September 20 for in-person participation only
    • Kate will setup a registration page, to be link to the ACP2025 Indico
    • Prof. Amou will check if this activity can be carried out the English Learning Center (ELC) so that their computing facility may be used—we will need to know the capacity of the facility. No software needs to be installed on the ELC machines: internet connectivity and online browser are all that is required.
    • If the ELC facility cannot the be used, the participants will need to come with their own laptops.
  4. Physics workshop for high school teachers; this is planned for September 20 in the morning but may be extended into the afternoon
    • Prof. Amou will check if the Ministry will provide lunch for the teachers or the Department of Physics will arrange something.
    • Kenneth will develop the program for the morning, with flexibility to extend into the afternoon as necessary.
  5. Scientific agenda and timetable
    • Christine will check with Thierry d'Almeida if he would give a physics talk in light sources or materials physics sessions.
    • We ask that all session chairs tell us about their invited speakers (name, email, title & abstract of talk0 for in-person or online engagements. We would like to know this information by July 31, so that we may re-arrangement the timetable accordingly and give the LOC the details of arrivals and departures.
  6. Frequency of meetings
    • We are now 6 weeks away from the event. We are switching to weekly meetings. The next meeting will on August 6.
