Description
Using CONTUR, we studied the viability of a Semi-Visible Jet with leptons (SVJ-l) model, a Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) signature that proposes a connection between the Standard Model and the Dark Sector, mediated by a Z' boson. We probed the possible parameter space of the model by scanning against existing LHC measurements to assess the exclusion of our SVJ-l signals. We performed a CONTUR scan over a parameter space where the Z' mass was varied from 1400 GeV to 4000 GeV in 200 GeV intervals, and the Rinv value was varied from 0.1 to 0.9 in 0.1 intervals. The simulated model points produced from these parameters were then compared against a set of ATLAS analyses. The first exclusion limits for this model were then determined from the regions of the parameter space that were constrained by the scans.
