With the advent of new computational tools and recent progress in NLO calculations, the time is right to revisit and discuss the optimal choice of basis for the dimension-six SMEFT (more info at this link). This meeting aims to initiate an open discussion on this topic. Everyone is warmly invited to participate!

After a brief introduction to the proposed changes, this meeting will be featuring:
  • Anders Eller Thomsen, who will present a theoretical perspective and insights from automated basis and matching codes.
  • Ilaria Brivio, who will discuss the consequences of some of the operator changes on various phenomenological observables.
  • Peter Stangl, who will share his views on future developments needed for SMEFT phenomenology tools.
