The CERN STEAM Academy is a 10-week, on-site summer school running from 22 June to 28 August 2026 at CERN, Geneva (Switzerland).
The Academy provides advanced training in software technologies, edge computing, and data science & machine learning, through a single, integrated curriculum combining lectures, seminars, and guided hands-on sessions. Full programme details are available on the official website.
The programme is open to PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and researchers or engineers holding a completed Master’s degree at the time of application. The Academy is conducted entirely in English.

The CHF 1,500 participation fee includes on-site accommodation and meals for the full duration, as well as access to teaching materials, specialised hardware, and computing resources. An optional post-Academy placement with a CERN group may be available.
