Update from Nico P.

  • Working on lifting and handling tooling.
  • Some orders still to be placed (BOM documents are ready). Juan will prepare a technical spec. and try to manage the procurement :
    • Impregnation mold
    • Reaction to impregnation transfer
    • Coil components
  • Waiting from Sylvain's feedback on instrumentation

 

Update from Dimitrios:

  • Finished the 2D/3D for the bullet system.
    • We need to produce drawings to machine a pair of each bullets and bring them to EN-MME
  • Drawings for the endplate and rods missing. For the moment in stand-by (see below)
    • Decision to consider non-symmetric ends: on lead end-side the plate will not have the opening for the bladders. In non-lead-end side the plate will not have the opening for the leads.
    • Action: Dimitrios to prepare a model of the connection and non-connection side (with the current thickness). Jose to simulate it. Based on results, we optimize the thickness. We expect to gain a bit.
    • To be prepared right away.

 

Update from racetrack mock-ups:

  • Actions:
    • Contact Oscar to check if he can provide preliminary results for the second DIC.
    • Wrap-up slides to be prepared for next week (Nico and Jose)
  • Previous mock-ups:
    • Pole: From 2 mm to 0.8 mm (closing by 1.2 mm)
    • Molds: From 4 mm to 2.88 mm (closing by 1.12 mm)
  • Third mock-up:
    • Pole: From 4 mm to 2.8 mm (closing by 1.2 mm)
    • Molds: From 8 mm to 6.8 mm (closing by 1.2 mm)

 

Update from Nico B.:

  • No much advancement in the measurement / machining system. Jerome is pretty busy
  • Rather working in the assembly table, trying to use as much as possible what we already have
  • Bladders to be tested and production launched (Nico B. has a sample of the longitudinal welded tube)
