    The UK Teacher Programme 2026 will take place from 1-4 December 2026. Lectures, on-site visits, exhibitions, and hands-on workshops will introduce its participants to cutting-edge particle physics. We hope our participants will go back to the UK as ambassadors, who pass on the subject to our next generation of physicists, engineers, IT specialists...

    The application process for this UK Teacher Programme will be open from 1 September until 23 October 2026.

     

    Teachers from UK: Thanks to the generous support from OakNorth, all selected participants from the UK will have their living expenses (a single room at the on-site CERN hotel and all meals) fully covered by the CERN & Society Foundation.

    Teachers from outside the UK: This programme is also open to external participants. However, you will have to secure your own funding for the programme (travel, hotel, and meals). The programme itself is free of cost. For further information, please contact teacher.programmes@cern.ch.
