Triga Nuclear Reactor and Tandetron Ion Accelerator (TBD)
This is an optional visit that unfortunately has 40 participants cap.
You will visit our institute's research nuclear reactor Triga and the only accelerator in Slovenia Tandetron. They are situated at the outskirts of Ljubljana at the JSI reactor center. The full trip will take about 3 hours. The bus will depart from the institute 8:15 sharp. After about 30 min bus ride we will reach the JSI reactor center where you will split in multiple groups. The visit will take take about 2 hours. Then you will return by bus to the institute or city center by 12:30. Note that you will visit supervised radiation areas.
