Description
Parton shower matching that retains logarithmic accuracy is a major challenge. We present first results beyond NLO using the PanScales framework. Focusing on $e^+e^-$ collisions, we construct a matching procedure that incorporates the full set of leading-colour double-real $\mathcal{O}(\alpha_s^2)$ contributions, in a manner consistent with the logarithmic structure of the showers. As a first phenomenological application, we present results for event shapes that receive non-zero contributions starting from four-parton configurations.
