Ajaccio-Cargese school bus:
A bus taking participants to the Cargese institute will leave from Ajaccio airport (AJA) on Monday June 22. The exact schedule will be adjusted according to the need of the majority of participants. Tentative time: early evening (~18h). Further details will be available in due time.
If you arrive from or pass through Paris, we strongly suggest, if possible to select the flight from Orly at 15h50 arriving in Ajaccio at 17h25. For the others, try to get a flight that arrives in Ajaccio in the afternoon.
Ajaccio-Cargese by public transportation:
There are regular buses operating twice a day between the harbour/bus station of Ajaccio and Cargese (see here) If you come by plane, there is a 20mn shuttle about every hour between the airport and the harbour: see here.
Please note: school accommodation in Cargese won't be available before Monday June 22 nor after Saturday July 4.
Housing in Cargese:
Various types of accommodation will be available at the following prices:
- (a) 650 euros: shared double room at the Institute,
- (b) 650 euros: shared double room in the village,
- (c) 850 euros: single room in the village, subject to availability.
Unfortunately, the requests for single rooms exceeded what is available, and we cannot guarantee that you will not have to share a room. You will receive private communication about your accommodation in due time.
Note that the accommodation cost also covers lunches at the Institute canteen (as well as breakfasts for those - and only those - staying at the Institute), coffee breaks and social events. Dinners can be had in the village at your own cost.

Departure by bus on Saturday July 4:
There will be a bus taking participants from Cargese to Ajaccio airport on Saturday July 4 in the morning (exact time will be confirmed) such that participants can plan their flight in early afternoon. Earlier lifts will also be arranged for those with a early morning flight.
Suggested flight : from Ajaccio at 12h25 arriving in Paris-Orly at 14h05. Please avoid if possible really early flights (6-7am). Keep in mind that you will have to leave from the institute 2-3 hours before departure time.
