Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

We invite you to share your knowledge, practical experience and research at the Peak Incident Response 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference will be held by FIRST during the Geneva Cyber Week 2026.

What We Are Looking For

DNS serves as critical infrastructure for defenders and adversaries alike. Peak Incident Response convenes security professionals to explore DNS's role in detection, incident response, and resilience, along with its policy dimensions. This 1.5-day single-track event examines all facets of DNS in operational security, concluding with a half-day session on policy measures to strengthen DNS resilience and support defenders.

We welcome practitioners, researchers, and policy makers working at the intersection of DNS and cybersecurity, incident response, or digital forensics. Share your real-world experiences, practical techniques, and innovative approaches that peers can adopt in their own environments.

We especially welcome submissions on topics such as:

  • The use and misuse of DNS in malicious activities
  • Using DNS as a tool for threat detection, incident response, digital forensics or threat/malware research
  • New or changing challenges to DNS due to malicious activity
  • Tools and techniques that leverage DNS in cybersecurity
  • Case studies of real DNS-related security incidents and misuse
  • Relevant geopolitical cybersecurity research
  • Community-driven norms, standards, and best-practices to improve security activities in the context of incident response and DNS

Presentations must not have the purpose of promoting vendor products or services, i.e. no marketing presentations.

All presentations must be delivered in English.
