Description
Work Package Analisys (WPA) meeting for the extraction of the MFT & FT0-C detector during LS3.
Objectives of the meeting:
- Analyse in detail the step-by-step procedure
- Ensure proper preparation of the activity
- Verify the readiness of the required tooling and equipment
- Identify any critical points or safety risks
- Define and implement mitigation actions in advance, where necessary
WPA meeting
-3.19 gate valve is not there, so the protection box can be installed before passing the support. plastic film is on top and bottom.
to start with the bottom MFT extraction and then top, as top is more delicate.
tools for insertion: 2.7 insertion tooling is the same of IB and OB. for MFT didn't use for the installation, but it is there in case is needed. it will be for sure useful and will be new procedure compared to the insertion.
6.5: when the detector starts to move, on the same moment on the C side some teflon pads that drive the cable tray, has to be inserted. this is a bit of uncertinty of how smooth this process will be, so considered the most difficul step. inspection at the time as the access is difficult, bottom mft is realitvly easy, on the top mft the access on the c side to engage the teflon pad is difficult. 2 people for the insertion pads and 2 for extracting the detector, at least 4 people.
3.19 there are some structure (bridge) that maybe be needed to remove before extacting the mft bottom.
2.8 camera system: to buy new camera logitech. ony used for the first matching to check on the bellow. not sure if we want to reuse it or not. maybe no need , will be available just in case decided to be used.
mft goes to the clean room at p2, to open the room of the clean room, so wait that both halves are in the hall and then transfer to the clean room. one half barrel has to wait the second one before going to the clean room ( 1-2 days). needs to be protected. better to keep in the Pit and then extract together.
schedule: agreed to finishe the test on mft and then detach from FT0-C. to change schedule: disconnect the FIT directly after the disconnection of the MFT.
FDD C this detector has to be removed, will undergo consolidation and repair. to organize a separate meeting.
