Description
This talk presents an EFT analysis procedure that gives model-independent constraints even if the new physics cutoff (M) is low. The method treats the uncertainties from higher dimensional operators as nuisance parameters which are marginalized in the analysis. Unlike normal EFT analyses, this leads to conservative constraints which are consistently weaker than UV complete models with new particles of mass M. This method is also capable of fitting excesses due to non-resonant new physics.
