Exploring LFV decays at FCC-ee - search for experimental collaboration
- Alberto L. : collaborators to explore experimental sensitivity (most sensitive could be tau -> mu gamma)
- Maria C. : nice interplay with the display graphics. Target for June ? Extented what was done by Alberto, Cristina & Maria could be interested in joining this effort.
- Stephane M. : Z->mutau sensitivity might be driven by a fundamental limitation Ztautau + a muon from a beam. What's about the H->mutau decay?
- Stephane M. : main limitation for mu->egamma ? Physics background Z->tautau + ISR and tau ->mu vv. No radical improvement for FCCee on this. Even a fast sim could help to estimate the sensitivity. Calo resolution is crucial here.
- Romain M. : how to make the pattern of operators useful ? simultaneous contraints can be displayed together with different predictions from UV models
Impact of Z decays on LFV theories
- Olcyr S. : tau->mu rho vs tau->3mu ... Intersting to study these channels too. Impact from nuclear uncertainties on slide 16 -- how are they estimated ? The knowledge of mu->e conversion in nuclei has a big impact on these bounds.
Roundtable on reconstruction tools
- Maria C. : the code is in Sofia area, but maybe having in the official repo would be nice. What's the pT threhold of the seed jet of the tau-candidate : 2 GeV ?
- Guy. W. : efficiency is the most important (s.7 of Sofia) ? Probably the migration matrix in each method is more important than efficiency. Aurélien : a student will start to explore this migration matrix
- Alberto L. / Maria C.: decay in charge pion or charged kaon in pandora, no distinction yet. Some studies exist but not yet in pandaro. To be In the whish list of pandora?
- Maria C.: important point to perform a benchmark comparison setup. Which detector simulation for the migration matrix, because it's very good -> CLD full simulation.
- Aurélien M.: good efficiency but did you check the hadron mass distribution distortion ?
