MiNNLOPS ttH with a point-wise combination of two-loop approximations

The MiNNLOPS method enables NNLO+PS predictions for the production of a heavy-quark pair in association with a colour-singlet state. Within this class, Higgs production in association with top quarks is of particular interest. We present an open-source POWHEG-based simulator that incorporates all exact NNLO corrections except for the double-virtual contribution. We propose a point-wise combination of two complementary two-loop approximations, valid in the soft and high-energy limits, respectively, with the high-energy approximation constructed in full colour for the first time. We provide an estimation of the theoretical uncertainty associated with the missing exact two-loop input. After validation of the MiNNLOPS simulations against fixed-order MATRIX predictions, we present phenomenological results matched with parton showers. They include tree-level off-shell effects for Higgs and top-quark decays, with analyses performed in fiducial regions relevant for ttH measurements.
