      Minutes and Matters Arising
      • The day following the last MB, LHCC had a review of the CMS Conceptual Design Report, split into two days. Immediate recommendations provided, waiting for the final report.

      • On June 17th there was the F2F meeting of the Resource Planning and Pledging Task Force, with high-level agreement (or at least, no strong disagreement) on most of the questions on the table. Waiting for the report by David as a stable point for discussion. Representatives have been explicitly asked to discuss that with their experiment teams in order to get first feedback. A *draft* report is currently scheduled for October’s RRB session, not necessarily with conclusions.

      • The Sustainability Task Force started the discussion about the initial value (default?) to be put into CRIC. Discussion: It was agreed that guidelines should be developed to try to ensure sites have a consistent approach in entering a single PUE value in CRIC, when in practice PUE varies with load, weather, etc. The guidelines may also need to address how to account for heat-reuse. etc. The HEPIX forum can offer some expertise in these areas and will work with the Sustainability forum to take this forward.

      • We have the initial agenda for September’s LHCC (WLCG session on Sept 1st  around lunch). No focus session; usual experiments + WLCG talks, plus one from CERN SFT on ML4EP.

      • IHEP is visiting CERN. Tomorrow we have a scheduled discussion with WLCG.

      • The WLCG workshop agenda (Bologna, Nov 2nd-6th) is now online and registration is open. At the moment, only the block-level agenda is present, and is being filled by the chairs.

      • Reminder about entering the pledges for 2027. Please refer to the email by Cath. The deadline is September 14th. Same date for the RRB reports by experiments and groups.

Planning has begun for OTF#12 (Aug. 25-26, 2026) with a theme of AI in WLCG operations and services, as well as planning for heterogeneous architectures (GPUs).

We will meet with the chapter facilitators of WLCG Technical Roadmap Chapter 8 on New Infrastructures and Architectures (including GPUs), Oxana Smirnova, Doug Benjamin, Ianna Osborne, and Stefano Piano next Wednesday to discuss the path forward in line with what was discussed and agreed at the WLCG MB#340.

José Carlos Luna has also asked for a presentation in OTF#12 about the WLCG security policy rejuvenation (Chapter 7), which is an important milestone in the technical roadmap.

Otherwise for the Technical Roadmap document, we as the main editors have begun putting together the existing material into a coherent draft document which we will work on over the summer.
