Description
The string+3P0 model is an extension of the Lund string Model that includes the quark spin degree of freedom at the amplitude level and is capable of reproducing spin effects in hadronization such as the Collins effect and the dihadron asymmetries. It is interfaced to the Pythia event generator via the StringSpinner package for deep inelastic scattering (DIS) and e+e- annihilation to hadrons. In this talk we review the status of the string+3P0 model as well as the results obtained with StringSpinner on transverse spin effects in DIS and e+e- annihilation.
