New EGI portal development status
Julia reported, that Nikos is almost done with implementation of the functionality which is expected to be deployed in July:
collector from the message queue with both classical Grid site and Cloud data, data repository, wau-like UI.
STFC is going to deploy the new service and make it available for early feedback to the community in the coming week(s)
This version will also provide a possibility (via API) to get data dump in json or csv formats. It will not provide per-metric view similar
to legacy EGI portal page. This can be added later if needed.
What concerns per user information, this might contradict to privacy regulation and should be discussed further.
Julia asked whether we can leave legacy EGI portal running for couple of months after July, for validation and consistency checks. Carlos told, it might be possible to preserve the UI, but without any maintenance. How to make transition convenient for the user community to be discussed further.
Monetary cost which is not reported in the accounting message to be dropped from the UI
Alessandro sent mapping VOs to scientific domains, though it is not a final version.
Transition to AUDITOR
Julia asked Alessandro to follow up resolution of the problem with message queue for Chinese sites which are migrating to AUDITOR
She mentioned that there are couple more sites which are planning to switch to AUDITOR this year.
LHCb is pushing UK sites to switch. This might help to understand consistent discrepancy we see between info in APEL and Dirac for some LHCb UK sites
Enabling information of which accounting client is used at the site in APEL is ongoing, but it would need changes at the sites as well, this infor should be included in the report.
Next WLCG Ops Coordination meeting includes two accounting-related topics: PEAR plans and milestones and CERN feedback for AUDITOR migration
Next meeting is in two weeks on the 19th of June, usual time slot.
