    Description

    This introductory tutorial will familiarise participants with the computing environment used throughout the CERN STEAM Academy. Students will receive Academy laptops and will be guided through the software, tools, and resources that have been pre-installed for the programme.

    The session will also introduce the key documentation, platforms, and support materials required during the Academy, helping participants understand how to access resources, navigate the environment, and prepare for the practical activities and assignments that follow.

    By the end of the tutorial, participants will be ready to use the Academy infrastructure effectively and confidently from the first day of hands-on work.
