This session will provide an overview of the CERN STEAM Academy 2026 and help participants prepare for the weeks ahead.

Topics will include:

• Academy structure, schedule, and expectations

• Practical information about lectures, tutorials, and assessments

• Computing resources, communication channels, and organisational procedures

• Accommodation, transportation, and useful information for living in the Geneva area

• Social activities and networking opportunities

• Important logistics and recommendations to help participants make the most of their Academy experience

 

The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and clarify any practical aspects before the start of the technical programme.
