14:00 → 14:05 General news - Review of minutes

• No ITC next week 28/7.
• RILIS question: A question arose from K. Chrysalidis whether parts or complete cables indicated with violet tape from the RILIS top into the HRS Separator area can be removed. Even cutting sections would facilitate the work related to the installation of the new structures and lab. J. Allamandy will see with K. Chrysalidis later this week.
• MISTRAL power supply removal is being followed-up.

• Wisard measurement campaign finished
• IDS measurements campaign ongoing
  • Issues with power cuts

• Neutron wall dismantling in SAS at the end of next week

 

• ISOLTRAP platform (until 18 August.)
  • The next phase has started and includes the installation of the staircase and the replacement of the first wooden floor with the new aluminium structure and floor plates. 
  • A meeting with the cable team, civil engineering and scaffolding contractor to coordinate the different phases of work and related lock-outs of the crane. 
•  RC6 MR-ToF/ RL7
  • Installation continues
  • Cabling work in the RC6/RL7 area is expected to be completed this week
  •   AC cable distribution for the PUMA experiment is still scheduled for week 33/34.
  • Meeting for new RAMSES and CHROME RP monitors was held. The RAMSES monitor will go onto the wall next to the RC6 switchyard and mobile solution for the CHROME detector is foreseen for the first years, only to be used when PUMA is actually in the hall (a few weeks per year). Based on the results, it will be evaluated if and where a permanent installation is appropriate

• Apparently in HL-LHC they found a new non conformity of the TFA03 cables, I believe these are HV cables for the pumps. In case you use them for your own projects, make sure you contact the HL-LHC team so to find a common alternative and solution.
• 508 startpoint will need to be cut for 1h, moment where this would not be good?
• Water leak in 508 control room: EUR 1,830
