Functional positions in EAM DB for the equipment/instruments of the HL-QXL (in the LHC tunnel) have as source (Single Source of Truth) LAYOUT DB. A synchro mechanism imports the positions to EAM DB with the names, hierarchy,... and possibly classes
This meeting will clarify the needed information to integrate QXL positions in LAYOUT DB.
Discussion on possible roadmap will be initiated with some information when the position could be available in EAM DB.
This meeting is the opportunity to confirm what will be integrated in Layout DB and what will not. Obviously, any equipment in the tunnel are including. However there is still need to confirm for the DFHX and some QXL transfer lines between the QURC/QUI and the tunnel.
The goal of the meeting is to report on the status of the integration of the HL QXL functional positions (LHC tunnel) in LAYOUT DB and foreseen dates for possible synchronisation/import to EAM DB, alternatively discussing the possibility of partial import to give more flexibility. The point related to the information required for the control system could be discussed.
