UNDER CONSTRUCTION
ALPS2027 will bring together theorists and experimentalists working on current and future low-threshold searches for rare events. The symposium will focus on the direct detection of light particle dark matter, ultralight new physics candidates such as axions and dark photons, and processes such as coherent elastic neutrino–nucleus scattering. Discussions will span the current theoretical and experimental landscape, the identification of new detection channels and target materials, emerging detector technologies and quantum sensing, as well as the challenges of low-energy detector response and calibration.
The venue is the Obergurgl University Centre, in the ski-resort town of Obergurgl, located in the upper Oetztal Valley in Tyrol, Austria. Attendance is by invitation.
