A School for Palestinian Students and Students from Other Countries
The current situation in Gaza and the West Bank poses enormous challenges for students, teachers, and universities. Restrictions on movement, disruptions to daily life, and the general instability of the region make access to education and academic exchange extremely difficult.
Despite these challenges, students, teachers and lecturers continue to demonstrate remarkable dedication to learning, teaching, and scientific development. Their commitment to education under such difficult circumstances deserves recognition and support.
As scientists, we believe that the transfer of knowledge to the next generation is one of our most important responsibilities. Education and scientific cooperation can build bridges across borders and help create opportunities even in challenging times.
With the Introductory School on Particle Physics 2026, we wish to express our solidarity through education. The school is primarily dedicated to Palestinian students, while remaining open to students from other countries who are interested in particle physics and scientific exchange.
The school runs fully online without any fee.
After the school there is a possibility to work on a small project in the area of Monte Carlo comparison with experimental data.
