Science Week Tirana 2026
From October 12 to 15, 2026, the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, and the National Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Albania are organizing the fourth edition of “Science Week in Tirana.”
Science Week is an opportunity to celebrate science, discover new ideas, and bring together students, researchers, professors, and science enthusiasts around topics that shape our understanding of the world.
Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to learn about current research, explore fascinating questions in Physics and related fields, meet scientists, and exchange ideas in an open and engaging environment. The programme will include talks and discussions covering different areas of modern science, from the fundamental questions of the Universe to new technologies and discoveries that are changing the way we understand nature.
Science Week is not only about presenting research. It is about making science accessible, inspiring curiosity, and creating opportunities for students to meet the people behind today’s scientific discoveries. It is a space where questions are welcome, ideas are shared, and new connections can begin.
We warmly invite Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, academics, teachers, and everyone with an interest in science to join us and discover some of the exciting developments taking place in Physics and beyond.
