The aim of the AI.LHC.TH initiative is to develop, enable and accelerate the adoption of modern machine learning to advance theory predictions for the LHC. This event is the kickoff meeting for this initiative, bringing together an invited set of experts from groups already engaged in AI topics of relevance to the theory aspects of LHC physics. The primary goal is to define a concrete list of initial topics, including ongoing work as well as new directions. The meeting should develop a draft roadmap, including a definition of the modus operandi of the initiative, promoting a coordinated and coherent effort. It is thus expected that this effort will develop in the form of an open working group, under the umbrella of the LPCC and of CERN TH.
