i) The meeting had the goal to define high level objectives from the newly received requirements for Compute, Infrastructure and "SA1" area.


Compute requirements one by one:

 #26610     CE should "secure" jobs with special memory requirements     

new objective: "Ability to process job with different characteristics in a suitable environment"

 #20329     High Availability (HA) CREAM

already captured in X16 "Evolve components"

 #20345     Increase of LB WS interface performance

The requirement was decided to be cancelled (returned)

 #26408     Support for three additional JDL attributes: SMPGranularity, HostNumber,Wwholenodes     

it was marked as a duplicate of the more general 26602

 #26580     WMS to support multiple Top-BDIIs

requirement got rejected/returned

 #26602     CE should support jobs requiring whole nodes or multiple cores

new objective:
"C Provide better support for jobs requiring exclusive node and/or multiple core allocation"

 #26614     CE interface extension for "job streams"

new objective: "EMI-ES interface extension for job streams"


 #26577     Accounting of parallel jobs

to be treated as part of the C2 "CAR objective"


THEN, on the request of Marco PTB added two last minute requirements:

-enable logging from CEs to LB
-Reduce WMS memory usage

both of these are covered by existing objectives.


Infra requirements one by one:

 #26575     Support for local jobs in the accounting system

Will be investigated how this request will fit with the CAR. To be covered by the existing C2 objective.

 #26584     The accounting layer should treat sites with more than one CE installed correctly

new objective: "I Investigate the potential accounting problems due to co-deployment of multiple CEs at the same site"
