Description

Spin-density matrix elements (SDMEs) for exclusive ɸ meson leptoproduction were ex-tracted using the 27.6 GeV HERA longitudinally polarized lepton beam and longitudi-nally or transversely polarized or unpolarized hydrogen and deuterium gas targets. The Q2 and tʹ dependences of SDMEs determined in the kinematic region 1<Q2<7GeV2, tʹ>-0.4GeV2, W2>4GeV2, extracted from the whole HEMES data set, are presented for the first time. Based on the extracted values of SDMEs one can test the s-chanel helicity con¬servation hypothesis. Presence of unnatural parity exchange mechanism of ɸ meson pro¬duction may also be checked.
