Please find below some practical information to prepare your visit:
Registration:
Upon arrival, please collect your visitor card at the CERN reception desk (building 33). If you arrive after 5.30 PM, please collect it from the security guard on duty at the entrance to CERN's Meyrin site - Gate B (building 120).
Laptop registration: Please note that, if you wish to use a portable computer at CERN with an Ethernet or wireless connection, it is mandatory to register at https://network.cern.ch/sc/fcgi/sc.fcgi?Action=VisitorRegistration
Accommodation:
Since this period will be busy, we have made a block booking of 12 double rooms (single use, 64 CHF/night) at the CERN hostel on the nights of 20-21-22 February, as one accommodation option for the meeting. The reservation will work on a “first come first served basis”. Please contact cecile.noels@cern.ch or julia.double@cern.ch no later than Thursday 31st January should you be interested, and communicate your dates of arrival and departure.
Should you decide to book a room outside the CERN site, you are invited to arrange your own accommodation (list of hotels) or you may try to contact the CERN Hostel directly by phone: 0041 22 767 4481 in case of last minute vacancies.
