We discuss a wide class of flavour-physics models, known as next-to-minimal flavour violation (NMFV).
New Physics couples dominantly to the third generation quarks in these models, while the unitarity of
the CKM matrix is assumed to be preserved. The way of representing CKM matrix elements on ternary
diagrams is presented, which is complementary to the conventional UT language. Possible experimental
signatures of certain NMFV scenarios, in particular in rare exclusive B decays, are studied.
