The CERN PCB workshop have been involved many times in the production of low mass devices for inner tracker application. Mainly flex buses have been produced up to now. Recently we have started 2 studies in this field to cope with challenging future requirements: Embedded active silicon devices in flex (bump and bonding free) and Low mass cooling micro channels flexes. Prototype production and preliminary test results will be presented.
