Questions during the meeting:
(JI) does lemon parameter override works at the moment?
=> yes but no really the point, we'll do a complete presentation about monitoring in AI later
(JI) do we know which YAML file provides a given setting?
=> (NB) at the moment, only with access to puppet master. Debugging tools are expected to be provided eventually.
(AI)if a fact is defined in a module, is it going to appear only in machines including this module?
=> (ST) no, the fact will be present on all machines
(JI) how long before a change in a fact affects the machine configuration?
=> at the next puppet agent run. Facts are evaluated and configruation updated accordingly at each Puppet run.
(AL) what about automatically using the landb ownership fact to populate the list of users wit root access ?
=> (ST) just a question of policy. You are free to do so in your hostgroups.
(JC) will the frequent permission problem in CDB (ppl can't update the profile for their own machines) be solved?
=> (AL) yes, permissions are implicitly be granted to hostgroup managers when a node joins a hostgroup.
