Directions:

Please, consult How to get to CERN (note that public transport lines around CERN have changed recently)

Arriving at Geneva Airport: you can pick up a free ticket for public transport from the machine in the baggage collection area at the Arrival level. This ticket allows you to use public transport in Geneva free for a period of 80 minutes.

Consult the CERN site map, which depicts the area of the CERN site relevant to the meeting (note: Bus  no 9 has been replaced by Bus no 56).

If you arrive during working hours:
Make sure that you arrive at the CERN Reception (Building 33), which is next to CERN Entrance A instead of the CERN main entrance.  If coming by bus number 56 (which recently replaced bus number 9 that is indicated on the linked map) then get off at "Les Pommeries" instead of its terminus "CERN".  You will need to collect your access card at the reception desk to enter the premises.
If you arrive outside working hours:
Your access card will be kept at the CERN Main Entrance (CERN Entrance B).  If coming by bus number 56, take it all the way to its terminus "CERN".  Ask the guard on duty to help collecting your access card.
Building 40 is a 5-minute walk from the reception.
