CONTROL CONTROL

Speaker

Dr Philippe GAYET (CERN)

Description

The LHC Cryogenic control system launched in 1999 followed a maturation process to reach the present layout. This evolution led by technical and operational issues will be reviewed in the presentation together with the initial operational requirements. We will present the current operational tools such as control infrastucture monitoring, access control principle, process simulation... already implemented in the process control system. Finally we will assess the future improvements to be introduced.
Proposed for workshop session (see call for abstracts): 1- Operation 2- Maintenance 3 - Safety 4 - Control control
