Description
Depolarization effects at the interaction point of a linear collider are analyzed. The main effects occur during the intense beam-beam interactions. Higher-order effects as well as theoretical improvements in the derivation of suitable equations are given. Updates on existing simulation programs are reported. Numerical results for the design of the International Linear Collider (ILC)
and the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) are discussed.
