Description
The apparently vast landscape of stable and metastable solutions to
string theory raises the possibility that string theory may be able to
reproduce virtually any reasonable low-energy theory. We describe one
corner of the string landscape (IIA) where it seems that the range of
possible cosmological models may be more constrained than particle
physics.
