Description

We calculate the correlation function of Polyakov loops and the cyclic Wilson loops in 2+1 flavor QCD at non-zero temperature. In our investigations we use the highly improved staggered quark (HISQ) action and lattices with temporal extent Nt=4,6,8,10 and 12. At high temperatures we compare our numerical results with perturbation theory.
