Description
Within realm of QCD sum rules, one of the central fields of application is the prediction of the decay constants of heavy mesons. However, although the applied techniques are
very similar, we encounter rather dissimilar challenges and obstacles when extracting, from two-point correlators of appropriate heavy-light interpolating currents, characteristics of charmed mesons carrying different spin. In view of this, it appears worthwhile to us to revisit this issue for the case of charmed pseudoscalar and vector mesons.
