Description

The reported study is dedicated to the correlations between mean transverse momenta $p_{\rm T}$ of particles in two observation windows in heavy-ion collisions. Analysis approach of mean $p_{\rm T}$ correlations is described. Dependence on rapidity and azimuthal acceptance of the windows is studied using AMPT event generator and toy Monte-Carlo simulations. Influence of the selection cuts - $p_{\rm T}$ range and event centrality - is also investigated. Predictions for mean $p_{\rm T}$ correlations for heavy-ion collisions at ALICE (LHC) are expressed. Author acknowledges Saint-Petersburg State University for a research grant 11.38.197.2014.
