Résume du cours “Technologie du collage’ (Epotecny, 3 jours de formation externe) Gluing plays an important role in detector construction. Some members of DT attended a a 3 days course delivered by EPOTECNY (FR). This training seminar summarizes the highlights of the course. After a short historical introduction, the different glue families are presented and the curing processes explained. Related subjects like qualification, usage, conception, surface treatment and safety issues are part of the presentation. Main focus will go on epoxy glues and the relatively new developed UV light curing ones. The seminar will be rather practical, aiming at providing tips and good practices for the group members.
