      (Draft) Minutes of first meeting:

Present: Gunter, Andrea, Mike, Peter, Hans, Krzysztof, Seb, Tatsumi, George, Alex, Mathieu, Luciano, Vladimir, Alberto

      From Gunter's presentation:

      • Communicate with example WG: on Peter
      • Review the name: again clarify that for validation we provide tools not single validation and regression testing. Name should reflect these activities
      • Additional proposal for names “Physics List and Performance Monitoring”, “Physics List, Performance Monitoring and Tools”. Poll will be created
      • Meeting every other month. Gunter to prepare a Doodle
      • Interface for automatic documentation, how to extend EM framework for that: action on Vladimir
      • Documenting PLs, how to categorize “recommended” PL? By user-community, by user-cases? Guide is to how choose PL.
      • IF physics list(s): we need to clarify what is the content in terms of models/processes. IF people should provide such a “menu”
      • What are the way to change parameters from PLs?
      • Next meeting will dedicate to these two topics: IF pls and “tuning” parameters
      • Decided to use JiRA to keep track of issues (need for a “category flag”?)

      From Andrea's presentation:

      • Reference files. EOS supports xrootd natively, very good. However EM uses AFS for storage, can be integrated into web-system if we use HTTP w/o need to copy results to EOS. Validimir prefers this.  Andrea, Davide, Gunter, with input from Vladimir and George will come to a conclusion on that

      From Hans' presentation:

      • Proposal was to form a small group with Hans , Gunter, Witek , Alberto discuss on how to attack this issue. This is at the moment in pause (see next point)
      • In two weeks Hans & others, after a meeting with CERN people,  will conclude on Merging of the two web systems: if possible at all and how to address the two requests we have: overlays, searching of results form users
    • 17:40 18:00
Physics Validation presentation web tool 20m
Speaker: Dr Hans-Joachim Wenzel (Fermi National Accelerator Lab. (US))
