Description

This event has been organised and chaired by Beatrice Bressan for the official release of the two books 'From Physics to Daily Life' (Bressan Editor, Wiley Publisher) in the framework of the CERN 60th Anniversary Celebrations.

The program of the Colloquium follows the tables of contents of the two books. In particular the morning has been dedicated to the first book: 'From Physics to Daily Life. Application in Biology, Medicine, and Healthcare', and the afternoon to the second book: 'From Physics to Daily Life. Applications in Informatics, Energy, and Environment'.

The titles of the presentations correspond to those of the chapters in the books and have been given by the respective authors.
