+ Actions done
- Testing opengrok - a source code cross referencing tool - as a
replacement for lxr. IT has adapted their webservices to allow this
java application to use afs space where we would like to put our data
- Discussion with IT about the rpm packaging of ROOT and Geant4.
At the moment there are no plans to do install a service for these projects
to be packaged as rpms.
- The memory ordered for the Mac servers has not arrived yet, Finance
has contacted directly the enterprise to ask for the current status of
the delivery
- Investigated the possibility to use readline as part of the Mac OSX
python distribution. The Mac OSX natively provided readline is broken
thus we will need to distribute the package separately to allow its
proper usage.
+ Next actions
- Finalize the testing of opengrok with IT provided servers
- Find a way how to distribute python with readline on Mac osx
- Finish VC9 ports for the LCG/AA stack
