Description
In theories with extra dimensions and TeV-scale gravity, rotating black holes
could be produced in parton-parton collisions. There are by now detailed
predictions about the Hawking radiation emitted by such objects. However, they
would lose energy and angular momentum rapidly, both in the process of formation
and in the subsequent Hawking radiation. The question therefore arises whether
any features characteristic of rotation would be observable experimentally. I
will review the theoretical predictions and show preliminary results of
simulations addressing this question
