Description
We present the results of a broad search for indications of new physics at
the electroweak scale. We examine an exposure of 1 fb-1 to pbar p
interactions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV collected by the
D0 detector. We concentrate on final states involving leptons, but the
searches are done in a model independent way. We analyze the data for
deviations from the predictions of the standard model, rather than focusing
on specific new-physics predictions of alternative models.
