Description

We present measurements of the CP-violating parameters in the decays B0 --> pi+pi- and B0 --> K+pi- based on all data collected at the Y(4S) resonance by the BaBar experiment at SLAC. We use kinematic and particle-identification information to determine simultaneously in a multidimensional maximum-likelihood fit the CP-violating parameters Spipi and Cpipi that describe the time evolution of the B0 --> pi+pi- system and the charge asymmetry AKpi, which is a measure of direct CP violation in B0 --> K+pi-.
