Description
Using the approximate symmetries for heavy quarks (spin-flavour
symmetry) and light quarks (chiral symmetry) one can build a
phenomenological Lagrangian for light and heavy mesons coupled by
strong and weak interactions. At the lowest order in the light meson
momenta these couplings are well defined, while the high momentum
behaviour can be modelled by form factors. Applications to some decays
sensitive to the unitarily triangle parameters are discussed: B -> DD + pion, B -> rho + pion.
