Description

This session is devoted to the EIC. It will start with an "Overview of ECAL activities at EIC". After this overview, each electronic module (CCS, DCC, TCC) will present the hardware test and commissioning plans (including timetable if possible). It will also present the detailed list of auxiliary components needed: #crates, #bus adapters, PC's, etc.
Out of those lists we will elaborate a common list with the requirements in terms of auxiliary equipment.

During this session there will be a presentation about the TTC hardware and software that will cover not only the EIC but also the rest of the experimental areas, Monitoring farm (laser and pedestals) and the final system.

The final part of the session will cover the software needs of EIC. Every module will present its debugging tools (TCC gui, DCC gui, etc) and its monitoring needs. Together we should agree/elaborate the needs for a common Run Control (if necessary).

The goal of the session is:

• elaborate a detailed commision planning;
• elaborate a common list of auxiliary equipment and define providers;
• define the TTC system to be used;
• define the source of trigger and xtal data;
• define the common Run Control if needed;
• identify problems and propose solutions.
